Beg the Lord to create in you a new heart, seeking to leave despair and sin;

Press, strive, and tend toward heaven, overcome from ruin by overcoming the world with indwelling of grace of the Holy Spirit...

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." 1 John 5:4, KJV

Achieve safety and rest by pursuing the Lord's harbor, sanctification, and holiness...

"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." Revelation 3:19, KJV

Commit to the Lord with well doing, patience perseverance, and fluent prayer, with fortitude in suffering...

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." 1 Peter 4:12-13, KJV

Honor the Lord by rebuking security in sinful courses and communion with idolaters...

"And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ." 1 Corinthians 10:4, KJV

Be preserved as entire and pure before the Lord, not leaning to your own understandings or trusting in your own heart...

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7, KJV

Trust in the Lord for all needed help, shunning lowly worldly pursuits...

"Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.
While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being." Psalm 146:1-2, KJV

Adhere to the Lord, so as to be kept from the sin of evil, aware that God always ever ready to hear prayer...

"and they went to the outskirts of Gedor to the east of the valley in search of pasture for their flocks.They found rich, good pasture, and the land was spacious, peaceful and quiet. Some Hamites had lived there formerly." 1 Chronicles 4:39-40, KJV

Fear the Lord so he pities you with needed compassion and comforts you...

"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103:12, KJV

Honor the Lord by not being in captivity among idolaters by depending on his lightness over that of this world of darkness...

"But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream." Amos 5:24, KJV

Glory in the Lord and rejoice in trinbulations and in the hope of heaven by love of God through Christ in adherence to his pledge of salvation...

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6-8, KJV

Live to the glory of the Lord by seeking his comfort and happiness...

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18, KJV

Give glory to the Lord with great faith that imputes to righteousness...

"Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform." Romans 4:18-21, KJV

Rebuke sin in favor of holiness before the Lord, so as to achieve righteousness, reducing transgressions...

"Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 5:20-21, KJV

Increase your faith in the Lord during afflictions and troubles, so as to be enlivened and comforted during distress...

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead," 1 Peter 1:3, KJV

Persevere in well-doing for the Lord, so as to live a life of faith and receive our promised rewards, escaping ruin and misery...

"As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:10, KJV

Avoid before the Lord the dreadful condition of the unholy and ungodly, who rebuke blood of the Son of God...

"Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ." Colossians 2:17, KJV

Be a good, quiet, and honest servant to the Lord, fearing his punishment, ridding yourself of corruption and sin...

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation." Romans 13:1-2, KJV

Be justified from all things by believing in the Lord and none else...

"Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:" Acts 13:38, KJV

Under the Lord's divine guidance, allow our heavenly father's grace to work in your heart under guidance of the Holy Spirit...

"And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine." Ezekiel 47:12, KJV

Be called to repentance by the Lord's grace and word, promoting happy change and rejecting the worst sins...

"Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;" 1 Peter 2:11, KJV

Obtain victory over the devil with constant prayer and watching, so as to escape the world with the Lord's grace...

"And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." 1 John 2:17, KJV

Be moved with joy before the Lord and become a consistent disciple, leaving behind covetousness and pride of life...

"And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest." Matthew 21:9, KJV

Believe the Lord will fulfill his promises in his own time and way, and do your duty before the son of righteousness...

"And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.

And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight." John 19:38-39, KJV

Seek the Lord and rebuke sin and its curses, lest our father withdraws from us...

"And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples." John 18:2, KJV

Humble yourself before the Lord so as to find peace with him, while following harmony with all men...

"There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
