Turn to the Lord and leave your sins...

Be watered by the Lord's divine grace and perfect holiness...

Trust wholly to the Lord's wise disposal, so as to receive needed strength with which to be bore up under daily troubles...

"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" Matthew 6:25, KJV

Shun abominable wickedness before the Lord and take up the cross of our gracious redeemer...

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4, KJV

Be justified freely by the Lord's grace, through redemption of Christ...

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV

Seek deliverance from the Lord when ready to despair and in distress...

"God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power." Habakkuk 3:3-4, KJV

Seek the Lord's salvation and forgiveness of sins, never forsaking our redeemer...

From a deep sense of your own weakness, show faithful fear and trembling before the Lord...

"For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2, KJV

Be strong in grace of the Lord and receive grace and strength from him, always continuing instantly in prayer...

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, KJV

Use the wonderful power of faith in the Lord to be reckoned unto righteousness...

"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." James 2:17, KJV

Be kept from condemning sin by following the Lord, lest you walk in darkness...

"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12, KJV

Pray daily to the Lord, so as to receive his grace...

"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." Matthew 6:7, KJV

Obey the Lord's commands, subdue lusts, and purify your heart...

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27, KJV

Exhibit heartfelt charity in the name of the Lord, mixed with solid hope and faith in him...

"Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven." 1 Corinthians 13:12, KJV

Continue in fervent devotion of the Lord against oppositions and trials...

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." James 1:2-4, KJV

Never break the Lord's laws through impenitence or unbelief...

"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him." 1 John 4:9, KJV

Never be of a doubtful mind or waver in faith before the Lord...

"Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work." 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17, KJV

Lean on the Lord so as to discover moral obligation and to govern aright, rebuking superstitions and idolatries of the pernicious Jews...

Be affected to the Lord and his grace....

Use your life as an instrument of righteousness to holiness to the glory of the Lord...

Exchange fear for the Lord's offered great calm and peace...

Seek majesty, holiness, and justice of the Lord...

"And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory." Isaiah 6:3, KJV

Seek the Lord's salvation with utmost earnestness...

  "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed." John 6:27, KJV

Pour out before the Lord prayers from the heart that are lifted up in devout affection...

"Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears." 2 Samuel 7:22, KJV

Purify your heart before the Lord, so corruption is eliminated...

"And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses." Mark 11:25, KJV

Use the Lord as a comfort in al storms, when tossed with tempests with tide and wind...

"But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid." Mark 6:49-50, KJV

Pray to the Lord to be kept from evil and not corrupted by the pernicious Jews of the world...

Praise the Lord for mercies and earnestly beseech Christ to open your eyes to the value of salvation, so as to be saved and healed...

Perceive the Lord's justice in all temporal and eternal punishments...
