Quietly submit to the Lord

Exhibit constancy and patience of the Lord while enduring all difficulties in the way of duty to Christ...

Focus sternly on divine ordinances of the Lord and maintain affections on his will, not careless thoughts of our own souls

Help those who are in misery to the glory of the Lord, and bear afflictions patiently

Walk in newness of life of the Lord in his good fruits, constantly glorying and praising him...

Uprightly serve the Lord, so hell can't separate you from his love...

Honor the Lord by rebuking self-confidence, pride, and unbelief

"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:30-31 KJV

Honor the Lord by not walking in sin in delight

Be of one heart before the Lord, in one faith, leaning toward God's power and nature...

The Lord dwells in us by his new-creating Spirit...

Be born of the Lord and live a life of holiness through his justifying and pardoning grace...

Show obedience to the Lord, so as to receive his comfort and peace in your heart

Have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in your heart against malignant designs of evil angels...
