Depend upon the Lord and seek to him for all needed wisdom for judgment

Avoid everything that dishonors the Lord, subjecting everything to what benefits and helps others in his name in holiness and truth

"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." 1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV

Pray in faith to the Lord, not to be delivered into the hands of our enemies the Jews, and wait on him with fervent prayer and patient expectation

"When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek." Psalm 27:8 KJV

Walk in newness of life of the Lord in his good fruits, constantly glorying and praising him...

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23 KJV

Uprightly serve the Lord, so hell can't separate you from his love...

"Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast." Psalm 36:6 KJV

Honor the Lord by rebuking self-confidence, pride, and unbelief

"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:30-31 KJV

Honor the Lord by not walking in sin in delight

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy." 1 Peter 4:12-13, KJV

Never show contempt for worship of the Lord or pollute his table

Kindly care for others before the Lord, and be compassionate to one another

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." Philippians 2:3 KJV

Abound in what is acceptable in the sight of the Lord...

"For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." 1 Timothy 2:2 KJV

Lay aside selfish objects and aims in the name of the Lord...

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up," 1 Corinthians 13:4, KJV

Crucify the flesh with its lusts and affections before the Lord, so as to return to our home heaven by seeking assurance of Christ...

"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:" Philippians 3:20, KJV

Be of one heart before the Lord, in one faith, leaning toward God's power and nature...

"With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;" Ephesians 4:2, KJV

The Lord dwells in us by his new-creating Spirit...

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God." 1 John 4:7, KJV

Be born of the Lord and live a life of holiness through his justifying and pardoning grace...

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

Show obedience to the Lord, so as to receive his comfort and peace in your heart

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28, KJV

Acknowledge the Lord with thankfulness and trust him with all your heart

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV

Seek to do good before the Lord...
