We must get to God through Christ

"No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him." John 1:18, NKJV

Jesus was serious about declaring that He alone is who is directly connected with our heavenly father (who we live for and always must seek to be closer to), which is a critical reason why developing a more open and positive relationship with Christ must be a daily priority...

Truly perform good deeds out of allegiance to Christ

"this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men-as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God." 1 Peter 2:15-16, NKJV

Though we can't earn salvation with good deeds, our actions must demonstrate our supreme commitment to Christ via performing good deeds (while, in part, silencing the ungodly's wrongful statements and counter actions)...

Selflessly pray for others

"For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;" Colossians 1:9, NKJV

God demands that we daily prayer (discussing valid issues and needs), but let us also remember to always pray for those we know who are in need of a better relationship with our Lord...

Defeat stress of this world with proper relations with our heavenly father

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;" Philippians 4:6, NKJV

Everyone has problems, but-as disciples-we must bravely, wisely, and effectively garner needed strength, answers, and resources via running to God and working with Him to solve problems & to create desired & needed bliss and productivity...

Expand on the deepness of holy love that you extend to others

"above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins." Be hospitable to one another without grumbling." 1 Peter 4:8-9, NKJV

Everything becomes better when we genuinely improve upon divine love which we deliver to others (without ever expecting anything in return); how can you accomplish that today out of praise for God and all He does for you?

Though we err, God seeks to help us make amends

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18, NKJV

While conducting your daily/mandatory prayer, you must honestly discuss your sins with our Lord and repent of them, but experience consistent peace in knowing that He's in the business of giving second chances as long as we're sincere servants...

Boldy serve-and live for-our Redeemer

"if ti seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15, NKJV

Everyone serves a master, and no one can serve more than one Maker.

Last night, as I watched Fantasy Island (which I'm working through), the episode showed the worthless religion of vodoo, and I was noticing at how horrific and worthless it and its practicioners were, and how I-like you-must need and want to serve God alone (so practice this with all you have today, at each opportunity)...
